LANCASTER, S.C. -- Federal aviation officials are investigating after a small plane crashed in South Carolina early Thursday morning, injuring two pilots.
The crash happened just before 1 a.m. in Lancaster, according to authorities.
Flight records show the Beechcraft aircraft, owned by Pressley Aviation LLC, a flight school based in Stanly County, had departed from Laredo, Texas. The plane made a stop in Mississippi before continuing toward the Carolinas.
Officials said two pilots were on board when the aircraft crashed. Both were injured, but their conditions have not been released.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the cause of the crash.
