High School carpentry students across Wake County compete in 'Shed Building' contest

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- A unique contest is taking over the NC State Fairgrounds.

High School carpentry students from across Wake County are competing in a "Shed Building" contest.

The goal is to encourage more students to pursue skilled trades like carpentry and design.

Friday was the second day of competition in the three-day event.
