Driver slams into downed tree in Durham

DURHAM, North Carolina (WTVD) -- An unsuspecting driver slammed into a downed tree in Durham early Friday morning as storms moved through the area.

It happened around 2:30 a.m. on Garrett Road, near Pickett Road.

The driver appeared to be okay after the collision.
