DURHAM (WTVD) -- Alton Brown, Food Network star and host of the shows "Good Eats" and "Iron Chef America," is in town and he's not missing out on the opportunity to try out what the Bull City's got cooking.

He's on tour at the Durham Performing Arts Center with his show "Eat your Science," part cooking show, part science lesson blended with a comedy talk-show. Oh, and there are puppets. You can read more about that here.

The culinary comedian has taken to Twitter and Instagram to show off the good eats he's found so far in Durham, making some bold claims and sometimes keeping us guessing.

We've got questions, Alton. We've got questions.

Like, what coffee did you order at Cocoa Cinnamon?

What tapas made you decided Mateo's are the best in the US? Are they really the best?

Which grain bowl did you order at Luna Rotisserie and Empanadas?

Where did you go for drinks?

What drink were you waiting on?

Who made the snacks?

We have so many questions, Alton, and we're not the only ones who've peeped your posts and tweets.

What do you think of Alton's Bull City picks, and where do you think he should go? Tell us what you think in the comments or on Facebook.
