Raleigh teen charged with murder of 18-year-old found in car

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- An arrest has been made in connection with the murder of a Raleigh teen found dead inside a car.

Police said 18-year-old Aljariek Josiah Freeman shot and killed Brandon Khalil Sandy, also 18, inside a car on Edwin Drive Sunday.

Freeman was located and taken into custody in Atlanta and is now being held at the Wake County Detention Center. He is charged with murder.
