Vets To Vets United seeks to improve and save lives, honored with November Triangle NC Cares Award

Vets to Vets United is a non-profit whose goal is to improve the life of veterans through companionship, in the form of a local animal shelter companionship, therapeutic, and service dogs. They are being recognized with the Triangle NC Cares Award for November, sponsored by the Ricci Law Firm.

About Vets to Vets United

"Founded in 2012 Vets to Vets United received 501(c)3 nonprofit status and consists of local veterinarians and volunteers working together to provide; service, therapeutic, and emotional support animals, as well as free and/or discounted veterinary care for our veterans many of which are struggling with loneliness, depression, Post Traumatic Stress, Traumatic Brain Injury, and physical disabilities. This service also significantly reduces the number of animals euthanized at the local animal shelters as NC has one of the highest euthanasia rates in the country. Improving lives, saving lives, one veteran and one dog at a time."
