Creedmoor Road reopens after deadly crash in Raleigh

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Creedmoor Road in Raleigh has reopened after a deadly crash Tuesday morning.

Around 6 a.m., according to North Carolina State HIghway Patrol, a man died after his car collided with an SUV. The woman driving the SUV was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.

Chopper 11 flew over the scene to find one car flipped on its roof on the side of the road.

Creedmoor was closed for several hours before it reopened.

NCSHP is leading the investigation.
