CARY, N.C. (WTVD) -- Cary town officials are outlining their spending priorities for the next fiscal year and inviting residents to take part in the discussion.
Residents are encouraged to attend an open house to learn about the town's budget process and the services funded by local taxes and fees.
The event begins at 3 p.m. at the Cary Senior Center. It will also be livestreamed, with a budget presentation replayed throughout the evening.
Town leaders say the outreach comes as Cary works to rebuild trust with residents following allegations that the former town manager misused taxpayer dollars.
