Body found inside container near road in Goldsboro

GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WTVD) -- A body was found inside a container on the side of the road in Goldsboro Monday morning.

Officers said they found the body around 11:15 a.m. off Holly Street.

Police said the victim appears to be female.

State Bureau of Investigation agents joined local officers to investigate the death.

No positive identification has been made.
