Deputies responded to a call on Kingstown Court around 11:40 p.m. on Thursday to find two people dead and two others wounded by gunfire.
Investigators say Eric McLean, 44, had begun arguing with his wife, Stephanie McLean, 44, when he shot her and turned the gun on himself. Before killing himself police say he shot the woman's daughter, and the woman's father.
Fourteen-year-old Vontasia Moore was found lying unconscious near the wood line of the property. Her condition is listed as critical. 64-year old Charles Moore, who is the dead woman's father, was shot in the leg and is in stable condition at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Ironically relatives say Stephanie died in a similar way as her son, who was shot Christmas eve last year.
"It's a sad situation because last year her son got killed right before Christmas -- the 24th day of Christmas," neighbor Patronella Goodwin said. "And now she and her husband, you know, is dead. So it's a sad situation."
