One man shot, suspect in custody after shooting at North Raleigh apartment complex
RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Authorities are investigating after shots were fired at a North Raleigh apartment complex on Friday afternoon.
The Raleigh Police Department responded to reports of shots fired at The Park on Northridge Apartments on Brookbank Lane, near Litchford Road just before 5 p.m.
An eyewitness told ABC11 they saw an altercation between a man and several women before hearing multiple gunshots at the complex.
Raleigh police said one man was shot and is suffering with life-threatening injuries.
One suspect is in custody, according to police.
Video from Chopper11 shows a large police presence at the complex.
ABC11 crews at the scene reported seeing a handgun on the ground. Shell casings were also visible in a parking lot.
