Giannis owns the popular Boston Blackies restaurant chain. The 62-year old, his son and a restaurant employee allegedly victimized a number of financial institutions, including Broadway Bank, which is owned by the family of Democratic Senate candidate Alexi Giannoulias.

He was captured at the Canadian border with his Greek passport on March 11 and was being held in Michigan.
