FLINT Dr. Jeremiah Wright is perhaps best known as the former pastor for President
Barack Obama.
Wright, who is visiting from Chicago, spoke during the Sunday morning service at
Grace Emmanuel Baptist church on Lapeer Road. The service began at 10.
The entire community was invited to the worship. Dr. Wright's theme was
"thanking God upon every remembrance as we press toward the mark."
Grace Emmanuel Baptist Church is celebrating its forty-fifth anniversary.
