Police: Man took pornographic photos of child

CARY, N.C.

According to search warrants obtained by ABC11, 26-year-old Kyle Martin Inch is now accused of taking dozens of pornographic photos of a boy beginning when the victim was 12 years old.

In October, a Cary police cyber-investigator said he found evidence that Inch was downloading child porn. Inch was charged then with second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

After the arrest, detectives began searching Inch's computer. He's now been charged with first-degree child sexual exploitation - which means police believe he actually took pictures of a child. Warrants state 141 images were found stored in the computer.

The descriptions in the warrants are graphic. Investigators said there were three sets of photos taken starting when the victim was 12 years old. The boy is now 14.

Police did not reveal much about the relationship between Inch and the alleged victim except to say that the two were known to each other. ABC11 does not identify the victims of sexual assault.

Investigators did say that Inch was not a teacher, coach, or a person in a position of authority over the victim.

Inch also faces other charges including statutory rape and indecent liberties with a child.

Bond was set at a million dollars.
