Officials told ABC11 one man was shot at the intersection of Hyde Park and Holloway Street.
The victim was rushed to Duke Hospital, where he remains hospitalized.
Durham police officers arrested 19-year-old Pierre Alexander Amerson, of Pond View Lane in Sanford, Friday morning. Investigators found Amerson on Eva Street. He has been charged with attempted murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon.
