Raleigh Mayor Nancy McFarlane to file for re-election

RALEIGH

The mayor made the informal announcement on Twitter and Facebook and asked supporters to like her Facebook page.

McFarlane is in her first term as Raleigh's mayor.

She succeeded long-time Mayor Charles Meeker.
