Fair peeping suspect may face more charges

RALEIGH

Paul William Fantz, 30, of Raleigh, admitted to snapping pictures with his phone of men and boys using urinals.

New search warrants show Fantz admitted to detectives that he also recorded in the bathroom at Five County Stadium where the Carolina Mudcats play.

Photos from both locations were found when authorities seized his i-Pod, tablet and two laptops.

Wake County Sheriff Donnie Harrison says parents need to be careful and be vigilant.

"It's sad to think in the society that we're living in someone would do something like that, but it happens," said Wake County Sheriff Donnie Harrison. "I tell people when they go to places like the State Fair to make sure they keep an eye on their children. Should we have to absolutely not."

Fantz already faces multiple charges of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, possession of pornography from peeping, and using a photographic device.

Last month, Fantz's bond was set at a $500,000.
