Scene cleared after Raleigh police investigate suspicious package near Executive Mansion

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Raleigh police gave the all-clear after investigating a report of a suspicious package on North Blount Street near the Executive Mansion.

The area was blocked off as police and fire crews worked to determine whether the package was dangerous.

Investigators determined there was no threat and the area has since reopened.
