VANCE COUNTY, North Carolina (WTVD) -- Vance County Sheriff's Office says a business owner was found shot to death in his home Monday morning.

Authorities say they responded to Tommy Ellington's home at 1261 Stewart Farm Road, east of Henderson, around 6 a.m.

The motive for the shooting is unclear and there are no suspects at this time, according to officials. They say it could have been a result of a robbery.
