RALEIGH (WTVD) -- A serious crash on Six Forks Road and Anderson Drive in Raleigh killed one person Thursday just before 3 p.m.
Police said 43-year-old Toryally Paktiawal was driving a Ford pick-up truck on Six Forks Road when a utility truck, driven by 26-year-old Phillip Travis Smith, attempted to make a left turn to Anderson Drive.
Paktiawal was pronounced deceased at the scene. Smith was transported to Rex Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The occupants of a third vehicle struck were not injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
