Woman crushed by pickup in Rocky Mount

ROCKY MOUNT, NC (WTVD) -- Police in Rocky Mount say a woman has died after she was crushed by a pickup truck.

It happened in the 1000 block of Parham Street Wednesday around 8 p.m.

Investigators said 38-year-old Keisha Lafaye Yarborough was helping a man push a GMC Sierra with a mechanical problem when she was accidentally run over.

The incident remains under investigation.
