1 dead, 1 injured injured in Johnston County shooting

JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- The Johnston County Sheriff's Office is investigating a deadly double shooting that appears to be a domestic-related incident.

It happened around 4 a.m. Sunday in the 3300 block of Crockers Nub Road in Kenly.

According to Tammy Amaon, Public Information Officer with the JCSO, a man shot a woman and then killed himself.

The woman was taken to WakeMed where she remains in serious condition.

No other details have been released at this time.
