Ice skating rink opens in downtown Raleigh

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Ice skating has returned to Fayetteville Street in downtown Raleigh.

The city's only natural ice rink opened Saturday at City Plaza.

The 45 foot by 90 foot rink can hold up to 140 skaters.

There will be special events there through the holiday season such as live music, theme nights, and charity events.

The rink is open through Jan. 29.
