Evacuation on Rigsbee Avenue in Durham caused by gas leak

DURHAM, North Carolina (WTVD) -- The 200 block of Rigsbee Avenue was closed Thursday between Morgan Street and Chapel Hill Street due to a gas leak.

Police evacuated nearby buildings.

PSNC said a contractor digging hit the line. The leak was capped just after 3 p.m.
