Durham police investigating shooting on Wedgedale Avenue

DURHAM (WTVD) -- The Durham Police Department is investigating a shooting in the 3000 block of Wedgedale Avenue.

The shooting happened around 9:30 p.m.

Man found shot multiple times on Wedgedale Ave in Durham

When officers arrived on scene, they discovered a man outside on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.

A follow-up investigation is underway.
