Raleigh man killed in crash in northeast North Carolina

BERTIE COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- A Raleigh man was killed in a horrific crash in Bertie County Monday morning.

Troopers said 38-year-old Myron Burney died after his car went underneath a big rig, continued down the highway, and then hit some trees.

The crash happened around 8:40 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. Highway 17 and N.C. Highway 45, near Windsor.
