The Fresh Market to open Fayetteville location

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Specialty grocer The Fresh Market announced Thursday it will open a new Fayetteville location in Spring 2015.

It will be the city's first store, and the 23rd Fresh Market store in North Carolina.

The Fayetteville store will be located at the intersection of Glensford Drive and Campground Road, adding to recent retail and restaurant development that includes BJ's Wholesale Club and Bonefish Grille. Across the street, Kohl's, Barnes & Noble, Old Navy and other restaurants line the new retail hotspot.

This area has been under heavy construction for months as Glensford Drive is extended from Fayetteville into Hope Mills. That construction is slated for a 2015 completion.
