Dense Fog Advisory issued for most of central NC

A Dense Fog Advisory was issued for nearly the entire ABC11 viewing area on Friday morning.

The National Weather Service issued the warning around 5:45 a.m.

Fog slowed traffic on roads around the area.

Our cameras caught a dense fog hovering over Durham.

Visibility dropped to zero in some spots like Roxboro and Oxford and a quarter-mile in Sanford and Southern Pines.
