GlaxoSmithKline is laying off 180 workers in North Carolina

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. -- GlaxoSmithKline is laying off 180 workers in North Carolina.
Right now, it's not clear how many will be from the RTP campus.
GSK sent out its notice to the Department of Commerce Monday.
Last year, the company sent out letters saying it was downsizing and that 900 jobs will be cut in stages throughout 2015.
