Clayton home damaged by fire

CLAYTON, N.C. (WTVD) -- Firefighters worked late Thursday evening to fight a Clayton house fire.

It happened at a home in the 400 block of Kerriann Lane.

Our crew on the scene said the family came home to find their kitchen up in flames.

There's no official word yet on what sparked the blaze.
