Crews battle house fire in Orange County

MEBANE, N.C. (WTVD) -- Emergency crews battled a major house fire in Mebane on Saturday.

The fire was at 6100 Lynch Store Road. There were several emergency crews at the scene, including the Cedar Grove Fire Department.

Authorities said they received the call around 8:30 p.m.

It is not yet known what caused the fire or if the house was occupied.
