Traffic backed up on I-40 WB in Orange County due to truck fluid leak

ORANGE COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- A truck leaking fluid caused major traffic delays on I-40 westbound in Orange County Thursday afternoon.

All lanes were closed near Exit 259 near Hillsborough while crews worked to clear the scene. Lanes have since reopened, but there is still heavy congestion in the area.

Officials have not yet released details surrounding the truck's fluid leak.
