RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK (WTVD) -- IBM announced Monday it's opening a cloud computing center at its Research Triangle Park facility designed to help companies avoid costly computer service interruptions.
While saying the new center will take up about 72,000 square feet of floor space, IBM - which is notoriously silent on staffing information - did not say how many people might be employed.
All it would say is people can search job listings on ibm.com.
The company did say it already has a client for the new facility. IBM said it will help Montise - which specializes in mobile banking - manage its secure computer infrastructure.
