Two injured in Johnston County accident

JOHNSTON COUNTY (WTVD) -- Two people were injured in an accident Friday morning in Johnston County.

It happened just before 6:30 a.m. on NC-42 at Neuse Colony Drive, just east of Clayton.

Authorities in Johnston County said two injuries were reported, but further details - including the extent of those injuries - have not been released at this time.

The North Carolina Highway Patrol is currently investigating the cause of the accident.
