As early voting gets underway across the state, the Chatham County Board of Elections Office released useful information for the county's citizens.
The early voting period runs from Thursday through Nov. 2.
Citizens can vote early at these sites in Chatham County:
Apex
New Hope Baptist Church: 581 New Hope Church Road
Chapel Hill
Governors Village: 50101 Governors Drive
Goldston
Town Hall: 40 Coral Avenue
Pittsboro
Chatham County Agriculture & Conference Center, 1192 US 64 Business West
CCCC Chatham Health Sciences Center: 75 Ballentrae Court
Siler City
National Guard Armory: 801 Alston Bridge Road
Early voting can be done Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.; Saturdays - 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Sundays - Noon - 3 p.m.
Voters will be asked to show a photo ID. If a voter does not have an acceptable photo ID, they can get one free from the Chatham County Board of Elections Office through Nov. 2 by 3 p.m., or at N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles (NCDMV).
