LOS ANGELES -- At the 2026 Oscars, the biggest and brightest stars from across Hollywood and the world of entertainment converged in Los Angeles to honor the most prestigious works of filmmaking delivered over the last year.

Andy Jurgensen has won the Oscar for Best Editing for "One Battle After Another" at the 2026 Academy Awards.
Other nominees were Stephen Mirrione ("F1"); Ronald Bronstein and Josh Safdie ("Marty Supreme"); Olivier Bugge Coutté ("Sentimental Value"); and Michael P. Shawver ("Sinners").
The Oscars brought the cast of "Bridesmaids" together 15 years after the film's 2011 release.
Rose Byrne, who is nominated for best actress this year for "If I Had Legs I'd Kick You," was joined onstage by Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Melissa McCarthy and Ellie Kemper to present the award for best original score.
McCarthy said on the red carpet earlier in the evening that she would film another "Bridesmaids" movie immediately, saying, "We really need comedies."
Gareth John, Al Nelson, Gwendolyn Yates Whittle, Gary A. Rizzo and Juan Peralta have won the Oscar for Best Sound for "F1" at the 2026 Academy Awards.
Other nominees included Greg Chapman, Nathan Robitaille, Nelson Ferreira, Christian Cooke, and Brad Zoern ("Frankenstein"); José Antonio García, Christopher Scarabosio, and Tony Villaflor ("One Battle After Another"); Chris Welcker, Benjamin A. Burtt, Felipe Pacheco, Brandon Proctor, and Steve Boeddeker ("Sinners"); and Amanda Villavieja, Laia Casanovas, and Yasmina Praderas ("Sirt").
Ludwig Goransson has won the Oscar for Best Original Score for "Sinners" at the 2026 Academy Awards.
Blues changed the life of Göransson's family.
"My dad bought his first blues album in Sweden, 1964," he said. "Even though it was on the other side of the world from a place my dad had never been, and a place he could not relate to, the music was so powerful it changed my dad's life."
