Man shot with crossbow in Mebane

MEBANE, N.C. (WTVD) -- A man was taken to the hospital after being shot with a crossbow Saturday in Mebane.

Deputies responded to the 500 block of Mace Road where they found the man with life threatening injuries.

Authorities arrested a suspect who was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.

The victim and the suspect have not been identified.
