Man killed east of Fuquay-Varina

WAKE COUNTY (WTVD) -- The North Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal accident at Dusty Winds Court at Mount Pleasant Church Road in the Willow Spring area east of Fuquay-Varina.

Troopers said a 33-year-old man was walking on the road when a pickup truck hit him.

No charges have been filed.
