Police look for suspects in two Southpoint purse-snatchings

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Durham police are looking for help after two purse snatchings happened at The Streets at Southpoint shopping center in the past two weeks.



The first incident happened about 2:40 p.m. on Dec. 30 in the parking lot near Belk. The suspect was described as a black male in his late teens or early 20s, tall and slender. He was wearing a burgundy hoodie and black pants with a swoosh on them. He fled in a small white car.





The second incident was reported shortly before 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 2 in a parking lot near Nordstrom. The suspects were described as tall, slender black males wearing light-colored clothing and masks on their faces. They fled in a white, 4-door car, possibly a Mazda.



No weapons were used in the incidents.
