DURHAM (WTVD) -- Duke says head basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski underwent successful hernia surgery Monday.

Coach K just underwent a total knee replacement surgery in April.

Monday's surgery was done at Duke University Medical Center. Typical recovery time for the procedure is four weeks.

"I'd like to thank everyone at Duke University Hospital who made this procedure as smooth as possible," Krzyzewski said. "With this surgery behind me, I'll be in great physical condition heading into the Olympics and I'm excited for the opportunities that lie ahead."
