Charlotte deli roasts Governor McCrory with 'Burn in Hell' sandwich

CHARLOTTE, NC (WTVD) -- Food is getting political in Charlotte. Specials at the city's Common Market deli on Wednesday included the "Burn in Hell Pat McCrory" sandwich and the "Pat McCrory Hates Teachers" wrap.

The eatery posted a photo of the specials board on its Facebook page with the caption "Come get some Pat."

The "Burn in Hell Pat McCrory" is spicy - featuring cracked-pepper turkey, smoked Gruyere, bacon, house-made super-spicy mustard, onions, jalapeno, red peppers, pickles and spinach for just under $8.

The milder "Pat McCrory Hates Teachers" wrap features avocado, tofu, spinach, tomato, onions, sprouts, Sriracha sauce, red peppers and cabbage for just under $7.
