FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- A Forensic Technician with the Fayetteville Police Department stopped to help a kitten stranded in the back of a pickup truck Wednesday afternoon.

FPD posted the story on their Facebook page, detailing Forensic Technician A. O'Keefe's rescue of the tiny kitten left in the back of a truck that had just been towed.

O'Keefe has a rescue group that she operates during her personal time, according to the Facebook post. Her rescue normally deals with pit bulls, but she couldn't pass up the opportunity to save this adorable kitten.

The male kitten appears to be about a week old, at most, FPD said. Now, the kitten just needs a name!
