NEW BERN, NC (WTVD) -- A Lillington man and his wife accused of making child pornography were sentenced in federal court Thursday.
Bailey Joe Mills, 34, got 45 years in prison followed by a lifetime term of supervised release. His wife, Elizabeth Mills, 35, got 16 years behind bars followed by 10 years of supervised release. Both are required to register as sex offenders.
Both pleaded guilty last year.
Prosecutors said the investigation of Bailey Mills began with a tip about the sexual abuse of a 12-year-old. Detectives learned that at least 10 other minors were abused and Mills paid several minors to have sex with himself and other men.
A search of the couple's home found cell phones and computers with multiple images and videos showing minors engaged in sexual conduct produced by Mills with the assistance of his wife.
