Lockdown lifted at Fuquay-Varina Elementary School

FUQUAY-VARINA, N.C. (WTVD) -- A lockdown was lifted at Fuquay-Varina Elementary School after a brief time Tuesday afternoon.

Some after-school programs were held inside as a precaution.

Police said an employee's husband called and made threats, but there was never a threat on the campus.

All students were released on-time at about 3:45 p.m.
