Man shot to death on N. Miami Blvd in Durham
DURHAM (WTVD) -- Police are investigating a murder after a reported gun battle in Durham on Friday afternoon on N. Miami Boulevard and Fiske Street.
Officers were dispatched about 3:30 p.m. When they arrived, they found a man who had been shot and then collapsed behind a house. He was taken to the hospital where he later died.
The man was later identified as Jose Guillen Rodriguez, 25, of Durham.
A first responder doing CPR on that man was bitten by a dog, our crew on the scene said.
Police are searching for the other two men involved. Police said the shooting does not appear to be random.
