Officials: North Carolina school employee sent inappropriate Snapchat pics to student
A 31-year-old Union County school employee was arrested for sending inappropriate photos to a student through Snapchat, WSOC reports.
Jeffery Long, 31, is facing multiple charges concerning inappropriate contact with the Piedmont High School student.
Long lives in Monroe, NC and was employed as a computer lab monitor at the school.
School officials heard allegations that Long was exchanging photos with a student, so authorities began investigating.
Deputies found that Long had "exchanged inappropriate photos with the student and inappropriate physical contact had occurred between them."
Long is charged with three felony crimes for indecent liberties with a minor and one charge for disseminating harmful material to a minor. He was fired Thursday from his job with the school.
