One dead in shooting on Durham's E. Cornwallis Road

DURHAM (WTVD) -- A man was fatally shot in the 100 block of East Cornwallis Road on Thursday night.

Durham Police were investigating. The shooting happened about 10:20 p.m., police said.

The victim, identified as 50-year-old Reginald Cole, was found in a parking lot and pronounced dead at the scene.

No charges have been filed at this time. The incident does not appear to have been random, according to investigators.
