Person hurt in Johnston County fire

JOHNSTON COUNTY, North Carolina (WTVD) -- One person was hurt Tuesday in a fire on Green Bramble Court in unincorporated Johnston County west of Smithfield.

Pictures from Chopper 11 showed an out-building behind a home was destroyed by the blaze.

Neighbors said they heard a loud boom and then saw flames.

The injured man has not been identified.

He was reportedly taken to the hospital with burns.
