Police investigate shooting in southeast Raleigh

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Raleigh Police are investigating a shooting in southeast Raleigh.

It happened late Thursday evening on Mangum Street.

The incident appears to have been sparked by an ongoing dispute between two people, according to preliminary information.

The victim was shot and possibly stabbed by a man known to the victim.

His wounds appeared to be superficial and he was not taken to the hospital.

No charges have been filed as police continue to investigate.
