Overturned vehicle shuts down part of I-85

DURHAM COUNTY (WTVD) -- An overturned vehicle blocked two lanes of Interstate 85 in Durham County Thursday morning.

The accident happened after 10 a.m. along southbound I-85 at exit 182 for Red Mill Road near Gorman.

The left two lanes were blocked for over an hour as authorities worked to clear the scene.

Images from a Department of Transportation camera showed a white vehicle overturned on its roof in the middle of the two lanes.

Details surrounding the accident, including if anyone was injured, have not been released.
